"Children are educated by what the grown-up is, and not by his talk"

Our Aims

What We Do

Community

It takes a village to raise a child. ~ African Proverb

We want to help foster connections within our PTFA membership.  By creating a strong school community, we can support and help to share in the education of the students at Christ Church School.  We all have something to offer our children and we want to share our gifts.

Fundraising

Every little bit helps

We know that funding for schools in the UK is an ongoing concern for school staff, governors and parents.  By volunteering our time towards various activities and events we can raise the funds needed to advance the education of the students of Christ Church School.

Communication

Talking and listening

It is through effective communication that trust is built in a relationship.  When parents and school staff are able to come together to discuss and share ideas and keep informed it is the students that benefit.

Team work
About Us

All Christ Church School parents, members of school staff and those that support the school community are automatically members of the PTFA.  As a member, they are welcome to attend all meetings and volunteer to lend their support.  Our PTFA also has an elected committee that helps to keep the association running smoothly and facilitates the events and fundraising efforts of all members.  But remember without the support of parent and staff volunteers we can’t achieve our aims.  We will also be looking to introduce parent representatives for of the year groups at Christ Church for September.  If this is something you would be interested in, please get in touch.

CHRIST CHURCH PTFA WELCOMES YOU

Welcome to the Christ Church School PTFA website.

We believe that a school, and the students in it, thrive when the parents and community are present to offer their support.  The more you give, the more our kids get!

Enjoy your visit.
